Biography

Dr. Chandrashekher got his phD in marine sciences from goa university in the year 1992. He has Associated, participated, awaded in many activites.He was the Research Guide for the students of post graduates, reviewer for referred journal. He was the Member of National Committee, visiting faculty at national institute of hydrography. Heinvolved in teaching the following papers for the post-graduate students from past 15 years and the details of my contact hours along with the topics engaged by me are given as below. Research Interest

• Presently working in the area of demersal fish faunal composition along the fishing grounds and their ecology.
• Biodiversity Assessment program associated with the Ballast Water Control and Management, wherein we have reported one species of crab new to science and there have been few reports of species as first record along the west coast of India.
• Fish community structure and ecological processes associated with the demersal community. Photo-documentation and cataloging of the demersal fish species along the Goa coast.
