Dr. Correia, Sofia Mendes MoreiraPhD scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) of the Ministry of Education and Science under the PhD Agricultural Production Chains – From Fork to Farm (AgriChains awarded by University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) and University of Minho (UMinho). The Doctoral Programme is coordinated by the Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences (CITAB / UTAD and CITAB / Pole of the University of Minho), in collaboration with the Chemistry Centre of Vila Real UTAD (CQVR). There are also two international partners: the Polytechnic University of València (UPV) and Wageningen University (WUR). PhD Scholarship Reference: SFRH / BD / 52541/2014.Research Methodologies, Seminar, Interpersonal Skills, Project Thesis and PhD Thesis. These curricular units performed during the four years, getting at the end 240 credits (ECTS). The curricular units correspond to 54 ECTs and doctoral thesis to 186 ECTs. - The Agricultural Production Chains – from fork to farm PhD Programme is designed to respond to national and international needs in the food area, in accordance with EU policies, as defined in Horizon 2020. The multidisciplinary this Doctoral Program yielded skills and in the agro-food field to the development of research projects with high scientific and technological quality, boosting entrepreneurship.
