Human Papilloma Virus is the most common sexually transmitted infection. Some types of these viruses can cause genital warts and cancers. Genital warts usually appear as a small bump or group of bumps in the genital area.However, if the infection is High risk, then there will be more chances of occurence of cervical cancer. Vaccination is recommended for the patients with compromised immune system. There will be no symptoms for HPV infection and the body clears the infection after few years. Recent research has shown that more than 90% of patients have no symtoms of the infection until two years.
