Biography

Amelia E Talley is the Assistant Professor of Experimental (Social)Psychology at University of Missouri, Columbia, she received her Doctral Degree (Ph.D )in the year 2009
Research Interest
Amelia research examines how threats to one’s self-concept and stigmatization affect psychosocial adjustment and physical health among marginalized group members. I have also sought to understand the ways in which close relationships and social roles contribute to individuals’ intrapersonal and interpersonal functioning, particularly during times of stress. Recently, she have begun to investigate how individuals’ sexual identity development influences their health and well-being throughout adolescence and young adulthood.
