Ana Carolina Peuker

Ana Carolina Graduated in psychology, specializing in Psychotherapy. Held Master (2006), PhD (2010) and Post Doctorate (2010-2012) in Psychology from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Experimental Psychology Laboratory, Neuroscience and Behavior (LPNeC / UFRGS). He has experience in experimental psychology, basic psychological processes, human cognition and health psychology. He served as a substitute teacher at the Institute of Psychology (UFRGS). Since 2000, collaborates as a researcher at the Research Center on Alcohol and Drugs (CPAD) of the Porto Alegre University Hospital. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow Doc Fix the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), linked to the line Search Health-disease processes in Institutional Contexts. Also engaged in the development of interventions / social technology for education and health promotion, disease prevention and wellness programs and quality of life in different contexts. It has experience in project management.

Research Interest

Cognitive-behavioral approach, substance abuse and psychological evaluation.
