Chatziioannou Aristotelis

Dr Aristotelis Chatziioannou holds a Diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, since 1996. After working as an Engineer in Industrial Consulting in Germany with emphasis in the optimization of maintenance tasks in plant production lines, he begun his postgraduate studies in the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA in 2001, earning his PhD in Metabolic Engineering and Bioinformatics in July 2005. He has authored or coauthored more than 250 journal and international conference papers in these fields.
Research Interest

Bioinformatics, metabolic engineering, genomics, biological ontologies, biostatistics, computational systems biology, biomedical image processing, hypercomputing, translational research.
