Naomi Cottoms, Executive Director of Tri County Rural Health Network (TCRHN), has been selected to serve a three-year term on the prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) Council of Public Representatives. She is particularly effective in advising NIH's Director to include voices of grassroots people as decisions are made on research and health initiatives. In addition to her leadership of TCRHN, Ms. Cottoms is the volunteer president of Walnut Street Works, Inc, better known as CommonStride. She serves on the board of the Eastern Arkansas Hospice Center, Habitat for Humanity of Phillips County, AR, and a founding board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Phillips County.
