David J Crowley is Faculty Associate in Psychiatry and currently investigating the actions of neurotransmitters during adolescent development, in order to identify better treatment options for adolescents with mental illness and drug addiction. As a senior-level research assistant with six years of experience in neuroscience and psychology laboratories,he coordinate large studies that use MRI and MR spectroscopy to examine neurotransmitters in the adolescent brain. He have co-authored numerous research articles in high-impact journals. In addition to conducting brain imaging experiments, he conduct structured diagnostic assessments and administer cognitive tests. Using SPSS and the scripting language Python, he perform statistical analysis of behavioral, psychological, and neuroimaging data. Administratively, he coordinate subject participation, community-based recruiting, and data management. He have extensive experience with IRB documentation, procedures, and approvals, and I am trained in all facets of human subjects research compliance.
