David J Crowley

Biography

David J Crowley is Faculty Associate in Psychiatry and currently investigating the actions of neurotransmitters during adolescent development, in order to identify better treatment options for adolescents with mental illness and drug addiction. As a senior-level research assistant with six years of experience in neuroscience and psychology laboratories, he coordinates large studies that use MRI and MR spectroscopy to examine neurotransmitters in the adolescent brain. He has co-authored numerous research articles in high-impact journals. In addition to conducting brain imaging experiments, he conducts structured diagnostic assessments and administers cognitive tests.
