David Casey has been teaching sessionally in the Department of Psychology since January 2004. He currently teaches Psych 3351 at Mount Royal University. David Casey also teaches at the University of Calgary and has taught at Boston College and Tufts University in the past.His publications have focused on quantifying gambling behaviour and out-of-school activities among children and adolescents. In the past, he has been involved in research examining interventions to promote the health of high school students. His research interests also include gambling behaviour among adolescents and adults, participation in out-of-school activities among children and adolescents, delinquent behavior, and prevention of delinquent behavior among school-age children and adolescents (including anti-bullying programs).
