Biography

Joy Schmitz, PhD, is the Louis A. Faillace Professor and Director of the Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addiction (CNRA) in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. As the treatment clinic director for the CNRA, she has developed a longstanding research program on the development and evaluation of behavioral treatments and combinations of behavioral therapies and pharmacotherapies for substance use disorders. Her research has been continuously funded since 1995 and has resulted in over 120 publications. She has served on NIH study sections and special emphasis panels.
Research Interest

He also includes  Vascular Surgery, Heart Diseases, Sudden Cardiac arrest, Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure,Vascular .He is the Editorial Board Member of - Journal of Addiction Research & Therapy and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books.
