Biography

Lene Larsen is affiliated to Peter’s Place Center for Grieving Children.Dr. Lene Larsen, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, and their families.She also provides parent-focused therapy to help parents understand and better manage their children’s behavior and functioning and improve their ability to cope effectively.Dr. Larsen completed her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Larsen was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry in the Medical School of Northwestern University. She has been involved in research in the areas of personality assessment, adjustment to pediatric medical conditions, and behavioral problems in preschoolers. Finally, she has provided sport psychology consultation to junior and college-level tennis players and to parents of youth athletes.
