Martin Tattersall

Professor of Cancer Medicine at the University of Sydney

Biography

Martin Tattersall is a Professor of Cancer Medicine at the University of Sydney since 1978, and a clinical academic at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He was the Chairman of the Australian Drug Evaluation Committee from 1997-2008. His research interests include Clinical Sciences & Cancer Cell Biology. He has authored many publications in the field of oncology. Today Professor Tattersall is widely recognised and respected in Australia and internationally for his huge contribution to cancer research and his pivotal role in improving patient care. He is a three times Cure Cancer grant recipient receiving seed funding grants in 1989, 1990 and 1992.
