Paul Mosca
Biography
Dr. Paul Mosca is a surgeon in Durham, North Carolina and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Duke University Hospital and Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine and has been in practice for 20 years. He is one of 103 doctors at Duke University Hospital and one of 22 at Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center who specialize in Surgery. He has authorized around 55 publications in the field of General Surgery, Surgical Oncology. His research on two areas. One is the development of more effective and entirely novel treatments for melanoma. Another area of interest is palliative surgery for cancer with an emphasis on understanding the optimal role and application of this type of surgery in the care of advanced malignancy.
