Biography
Saeed Semnanian is working as a Proffessor in Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran.He is the member of Federation of Asian and Oceanic Neuroscience Societies, (FAOPS) Federation of Asian and Oceanic Physiological Societies.
Research Interest
His research interests reflect in Evaluating the age and the lung parameters on chemical warfare casualties, Assessing the mechanism of electrical stimulation on analgesia and comparing it with morphine’s effect Comparing the central effects of Alpha-1 and Alpha-2 receptors on electrical stimulation induced analgesia etc and had a wide range of publications in various national and international journals. His research includes Amphetamine Addiction, Amphetamine-Related Disorders, Cocaine Addiction, Cocaine-Related Disorders, Morphine Addiction. He is the Editorial Board Member of - Journal of Addiction Research & Therapy and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books.
