Ms Sumytra Menon is a Senior Assistant Director at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics (CBmE), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Sumy’s primary role is to develop a national competency framework for clinical and research ethics training, which involves working with the members of the National Ethics Capability Committee (NECC). She is responsible for scoping, planning, researching, and crafting the framework as well as devising the strategy to implement the competency standards through appropriate training programs. Additionally, she teaches on CBmE’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
