Tonelle E Handley

Biography

Dr Tonelle Handley is a Research Fellow at the University of Newcastle's Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health. She is a psychiatric epidemiologist whose research focus is on quantitative approaches to improving mental health for rural Australians. Her areas of work include improving access to mental health services, improving community attitudes towards mental health, and rural suicide prevention. She has research experience across university and health sectors, and has worked on projects spanning targeted interventions to broad public health approaches. 
Research Interest

His research includes Lifetime Affective and Alcohol Use Disorder: Impact of Comorbidity on Current Functioning and Service Use in a Rural Population and wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
