Victoria Bae- Jump

Biography

Dr. Victoria Bae-Jump is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gynaecologic Oncology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). She is also a translational cancer researcher at the UNC-CH Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Centre in the Clinical Research Program.

Dr. Bae-Jump completed her Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at UNC-CH in 2007. Dr. Bae-Jump received the Foundation for Women’s Cancer/Florence & Marshall Schwid Ovarian Cancer Research Award in 2011. Dr. Bae-Jump’s research efforts are currently being supported by a NIH/NCI K23: Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award, a Department of Defence/Ovarian Cancer Research Program (DOD/OCRP): Translational Pilot Award and a UNC-CH Line Berger Comprehensive Cancer Centre: Development Research Award, among others. She is a full member of several organizations, including the Society of Gynaecologic Oncology (SGO), the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

 

Research Interest

His research focuses on understanding the interactions between cell signaling pathways implicated in endometrial cancer pathogenesis as a means to target therapy for this disease.
