Yau CC
Biography
Dr Yau graduated from the medical school of The University of Hong Kong in 1985. After his internship in Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) and Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), he settled in the Department of Clinical Oncology of QMH since 1986.He was awarded the Frank Doyle Medal by the Royal College of Radiologists in 1988 for his outstanding achievement in the part I fellowship examination. He subsequently obtained his MRCP in 1990, FRCR(UK) in 1991 and FHKCR in 1992. He was also elected FRCP(Edin) in 2003. Since May 2005, he was transferred to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) to take up the task of commissioning a new Cancer Centre to serve the Kowloon West Cluster of hospitals. He is currently the Chief of Service of the Kowloon West Cluster Department of Oncology, Kowloon West Cluster Clinical Coordinator in Health Informatics, and Deputy Chief Executive of Princess Margaret Hospital.
