Biography

Kathreen E Ruckstuhl is currently working as a Professor (full-time) in the department of biological sciences at the University of Calgary. She has done her PhD research from Université de Sherbrooke and post doc from University of Cambridge. She particularly interested in what drives gregariousness, the social organization within groups, affinities and associations between group members, cost and benefits of group living, such as competition for food and mates, parasite and disease transmission, and cooperation, to name but a few aspects.
