Research Interest

Effects of air pollutants on plant species and terrestrial ecosystems; Biological indication and monitoring of ambient air quality; Impact on arctic ecosystems of elevated UV-B radiation due to depletion of stratospheric ozone; Consequences for terrestrial plant life of global climate change (Greenhouse effect, Ozone depletion etc.) in combination with traditional air pollution scenarios; Cultivation aspects and ecological benefits of reduced pesticide application in Danish agriculture (and forestry).
