Biography

Pei-Fen Lee graduated from the National Taiwan, Taiwan, with B.S. and M.S. degrees, and the University of Michigan, Mich, USA, with a Ph.D. degree. He is a Professor and the Director in the Institute of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. He has published his results in journals such as Global Ecology and Biogeography, Journal of Biogeography, Diversity and Distribution, Ecography, Ecosystems, Zoological Studies, Ecological Modeling, Journal of Asian Earth Science, Wilson Bulletin, Pacific Conservation Biology, Marine Ecology and Progress Series, Wetlands, American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, American Journal of Botany, and Taiwania.

Research Interest

His research focuses mainly on landscape and community ecology as well as on reserve design and nature resources management using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
