Biography

"I am a UK trained specialist in palliative medicine and a former research fellow of the Harry R. Horvitz Centre for Palliative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, a World Health Organization Demonstration Project in Palliative Medicine, and a European Society for Medical Oncology Designated Center of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care. I have attained MRCP (UK), MRCP (UK) Palliative Medicine and Diploma Palliative Medicine (Cardiff University, England). My goal is to contribute to the field of palliative medicine both in clinical and research realm. My research interest includes several aspects of palliative medicine - complex symptom assessment/management, end of life care and end of life care in the community.
