Biography

Katie Barnes is a research professor at the George Washington University (GWU) School of Public Health and Health Services, Department of Health Policy. Professor Barnes has more than 20 years of public policy experience. Currently, she conducts research in a variety of issue areas related to the implementation of the new health reform law, including the public health and prevention provisions, delivery system reforms, quality improvement initiatives, and the health insurance exchange system.
