Biography

Dr. Ping Xie is currently working as a Professor in Donghu Experimental Station of Lake Ecosystem, Institute of Hydrobiology Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China. His research interests include origin of genetic code, microcystins, cyanobacterial blooms, toxicology, elephant, dimethylsulfide, odor compounds, global warming, freshwater ecology, macrophytes, zooplankton, phytoplankton, silver carp, bighead carp, eutrophication, origin of life, Yangtze River and cyprinid.
