Abstract
R egarding personality factors and some psychological disorders in people's tendency towards drug use, the present study tries to compare sensation seeking, ADHD and resiliency factors between addicted and non addicted people in Esfahan city. Method: In this co-relational study 100 addicts as well as 100 non-addicts were sampled randomly in 2013 in Behzisti Centers in Esfahan. Data gathering tools were questionnaire of Arnet for sensation seeking, questionnaire for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder of Caners and Resiliency questionnaire. T-test and regression was used to analyze the obtained data. Results: Obtained results indicated that between three parameters of Sensation seeking, ADHD and Resiliency between two groups there exists a meaningful relationship. Also regression results showed that in addicted people attention deficit hyperactivity disorder have meaningful predictive ability for resiliencyand sensation seeking but this was not observed for sensation seeking and resiliency. Conclusion: It was indicated that sensation seeking, ADHD and resiliency have influence on people's tendency towards drug abuse. These results can be used in treatment preventive measures
