Cyprus Architects Association was established in 1981 with a primary objective to have a single "Body Representation of Architecture" that can accommodate all of Cyprus Architects. The upgrading of the single longer scientific and professional organization as the sole member of society and the State in matters regarding the architecture and the world of architects, it is a significant achievement and perhaps the culmination of the 30-year history of the Cyprus architects Association.
According to the Association, the Board consists of ten members-six members - Architects, which is represented by the District Departments of Limassol, Larnaka / Famagusta and Paphos. The Board is the executive and coordinating body which undertakes the policy to be followed to achieve the objectives and solve the problems of the Architecture industry. The Cyprus Architects Association counts above 900 members.
It determines the necessity of education and training of members by organized annual seminars, lectures, workshops and exhibitions. In the publishing sector the Cyprus Architects Association released the scientific journal "FILE" and additionally makes other valuable publications that reflect the modern Cypriot architecture.
