Dendrochronology laboratory at ICRAF

Biography
She joined ICRAF as a laboratory and field technician in the nutrients Management Project in Maseno, Kenya. She had experience working in the field in different parts of Kenya. She then joined Lou Verchort to work on different projects including enzymatic assays extraction and analysis, chronosequence and greenhouse gas measurement. Currently she is the technician in charge of the newly established dendrochronology laboratory at ICRAF headquarters in Nairobi Kenya. She trained for this work at the Fredrick Alexander University in Erlangen Nuremberg in Germany. Edith is an Environmental Management final year student at the University of South Africa majoring in Geography.
