Biography

Dalia El Khoury is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Nutritional Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto since October 2010. She completed her PhD in Physiology and Physiopathology at the University of Pierre et Marie Curie, France, in 2008. Afterwards, she lectured in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Her research focused on elucidating the role of macronutrients, with special emphasis on dietary proteins, and foods and functional foods, with special interest in milk and dairy products, in satiety and food intake regulation, glucose homeostasis and metabolic control in health and diseases.
