Biography

Dr. Basu joined the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering at Boise State University in October 2020 as a Research Scholar in the Nanoscale Materials and Device Group, Quantum DNA research group to work on the synthesis of novel DNA-templated dye aggregates in achieving quantum entanglement and applications such as quantum computing. Her previous work includes working as a Research Scientist for Boise State’s Chemistry Department starting in 2017, for which she conducted analytical method validation, small molecule synthesis, and assay development with a focus on bio-molecular chemistry/medicinal chemistry applications.
