Biography
Dr. Sandeep K. Vashist is the R&D Manager at Immunodiagnostics Systems. He worked as Bioanalytical Scientist for Bristol-Myers Squibb Ireland (2006−2009), Team Leader for point-of-care (POC) diabetic monitoring at NUS (2009−2012); Head of Immunodiagnostics at Hahn-Schickard, Germany (2012-2015); and, Chief Scientific Officer at Vallo Med Health Care GmbH, Germany (2015-16). His research outputs include many successful technology transfers; several in vitro diagnostic and POC technologies; about 300 high impact factor journal publications, book chapters, and conference manuscripts. He has written two books for CRC Press and Elsevier, and holds several patents. He has been constantly rewarded for scientific research excellence and innovation. Further, he is the invited Editor for many reputed journals; an expert/reviewer/advisor for several international funding agencies; and, a Technology consultant to several companies in IVD and POC technologies. His research interests include IVD, POC technologies, bioanalytical sciences, nanotechnology, and mobile healthcare.
