Biography
Dr. Raj Bhaskaran has received his PhD in 1987 from the University of Madras, India. Currently, he is working as a Research Professor and NMR Director at Claflin University in South Carolina, USA. He has been with the International Pharmaceutical Research Company “AstraZeneca” as a Site Head for R&D Informatics and has assumed both Managerial and Administrative responsibilities. His research interests include: Structural Biology and Biochemistry; Protein Structure, Folding, Dynamics and Protein- Protein and ligand Interactions; Structural Genomics; Structure Based Drug Design; Drug Discovery. He has reviewed many research articles for Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, European Jl. of Biochemistry, Journal Biochemistry and Physiology (OMICS), Chemical Biology & Drug Design. He has many peer reviewed publications in well reputed journals. He is a member of the following research organizations: American Heart Association, American Chemical Society, Sigma Xi Research Society, Life member of NMR Society of India, Indian Biophysical Society, Chinese Biochemical Society – Taiwan, and Association of Managers of Magnetic Resonance Laboratories.
