Ahmad Amiri is currently a PhD student of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at University of Malaya. His research broadly focuses on the nano-structures, bio-nano material, chemical engineering, characterization and heat&mass transfer. He has published over 30 scientific manuscripts, book chapters; patents. He also teaches different courses in chemical engineering. He received his BS and MS degrees from Azad university and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad respectively. Over recent years, Ahmad Amiri has devoted most of his research career to the investigation of synthesizing nano-structures, antimicrobial activity, antifungal activity and free radical scavenging capability of carbon-nanostructures, Microbial toxicity of different nano-materials, heat and mass transfer, Optimization of the efficiency using Artificial Neural Network and Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System, functionalization and purification of carbon-nanostructures such as Carbon nanotubes, graphene, antimicrobial and antifungal activities.
