Prof. Shanthy Sundaram has received her PhD in.Microbiology from Barkatullah University, India during the period of 1992. Currently, she is working as Professsor and Head, Department of Biotechnology in Allahabad University. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Superintendent of girls hostel. Her research has included extensive studies on cyanobacterial biochemical and physiological studies under environmental stress. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as…CSIR-SRF, British Council fellowship to work in UK,Academic staff fellowship, UGC, Italian CARINA visiting faculty programme.
