Dr. Chand received his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He completed a residency in general surgery and also an advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Chand had been on staff since 2003 and served as director, surgical endoscopy, director, advanced surgical training and associate program director of the surgical residency program at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Chand also serves on numerous leadership committees with the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has recently served as president, Ohio Society of Bariatric Surgery from 2010 – 2012.
