Biography

Gintaras Antanavicius, MD, FACS is a boardcertified, fellowship trained bariatric/ minimally invasive surgeon who has recently been designated a Bariatric Center of Excellence Surgeon by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). Dr. Antanavicius has been named as the Director of the Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at AMH, which will begin in July 2012. He has completed his Medicine in Surgery at Vinilus University, Luthiana State. Later he was appointed as Clinical Instuctor as Department of Surgery, Minnasota University.Now he is working as Associate  Director, Institute of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital.
