Jesse C Krakauer
Biography
Dr. Krakauer has 15 years experience as a Clinical Endocrinologist with subspecialty expertise in bone and mineral metabolism and multidisciplinary bariatric programs. Dr. Krakauer graduated from California’s Stanford University School of Medicine. After an internship in general internal medicine at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he spent several years in Israel, practicing family medicine in the course of which he earned a Community Medicine Certificate from Tel Aviv University Medical School. A residency in internal medicine was completed at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Krakauer then served an additional year of medical residency in Israel to become certified as a specialist in that country. He also served for 18 months as a physician in the Israel Defense Forces. After returning to the United States in 1989, Dr. Krakauer was a fellow for three years and then spent two years as senior staff physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, pursuing subspecialty interests in Endocrinology & Metabolism, Bone & Mineral and Medical Informatics.
