Biography
Dr. Vainshtein was born in Argentina. Julio Vainstein, M.D. is an internist working in the field of diabetes since the early 1980’s. He is the founder and director of the diabetes unit at Wolfson Hospital. He is a leader in treatment and administration of diabetes in Israel as part of the Israeli Association for Diabetes and the National Council for Diabetes. Dr. Vainstein is an active researcher, participating in over 100 international clinical trials in the field of diabetes.
