Abstract
Background: The main treatment for obesity consists of dieting and physical exercise. Diet programs may produce weight loss over the short term but maintaining this weight loss is frequently difficult and often requires making exercise and a lower calorie diet a permanent part of an individualテ「ツ?ツ?s lifestyle. Success rates of long-term weight loss maintenance with lifestyle changes are low ranging from 2 to 20%. The Pilot Program: A 12 month study of 25 Men aged between 30 and 60 years of age was undertaken from January 5, 2014 to January 6, 2015. A combination of activity, social support and nutritional support was provided to the group. The results of the program have shown remarkable changes to the participants in the program and the adoption of sustainable lifestyle changes that have been integrated into the habits of the participants. Beyond doubt, the results of the program are largely due to the introduction of the テ「ツ?ツ?Mateshipテ「ツ?ツ element and the removal of a structured, directed exercise program in favour of a facilitated approach combined with an online community.
