Biography
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma Barcelona in 1988. He specializes in Nuclear Medicine, has the Diploma of Expert in Radiopharmacy. Fellow conducted a PET at MD.Anderson Houston.TX-USA in 1993 and obtained the European Board in Nuclear Medicine in 2008. He made a Master Integrated Health Services in ESADE during 2002-2003. He obtained a doctorate from the Universidad Barcelona, Cum Laude, in 2015 with the title "11C-Choline PET/CT in Prostate Cancer."
He was Chief of Nuclear Medicine at CTD-Hospital Mutua Terrassa from 1994-2000. He is currently Head of the PET Unit CETIR-ERESA since 2006, where he was also Medical Assistant from 2000-2006.
He is a member of the executive committee of PET Group of the Sociedad Española Medicina Nuclear, the Drafting Committee of the Revista Española Medicina Nuclear, National Advisor Oncology Committee of the European Association Nuclear Medicine and member of honor of the Sociedad Española Diagnóstico Imagen SEDIA – SERAM.
