Dr. Valentina Ieraci PhD student (last year) in Neuroscience, University of Turin Italy. Currently, she is working as Psychological ID and Young Research in the Clinical and Oncological Psychology Unit of Department of Neuroscience of the University of Turin, Italy. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Psychology. Her research has included pharmacotherapy, pain and Electroencephalography Pharmaco-EEG and biomarker. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as: 1) I.N.A.I.L. Foundation Italy 2010: Grant for Occupational Medicine Research Project âUsing fMRI to assess the functional activations of patients affected by work-stress related. Pilot study in a group of patients attending the clinic interdivisional the Department of Occupational Medicine, University of Turinâ. Principal Investigator Prof. Enrico Pira. 2) Grundtvig Training Grants 2011 International Program; 3)ABBOTT Pharmaceutics Europe 2014: Grant for Experimental Research. She has authored many research articles and also she co-authored books âchapters like the last two: Chaturvedi Santosh, Ieraci Valentina, Torta Riccardo Title of book: Psychopharmacology in Oncology and Palliative Care- A Practical Manual Editors: Riba & Grassi Title of Chapter: Treatment of somatoform disorders and other somatic symptom condition (pain, fatigue, hot flashes, and pruritus). 2013 in press. Torta R, Ieraci V Title of Book: Peripheral Inserted Central Catheters Editors: Sergio Sandrucci, Baudolino Mussa Title of the Contribution: Venous access devices and emotional response in oncologic patients : diagnostic and management aspects. Springer 2013 in press. She is also member of the Consensus Conference of Pain and Palliative Care.
