Graduated in Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo in 1972; master of Neurology, Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo in 1985; doctorate in Neurology, Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo in 1990; free-teaching in the Neurology Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo in 2005, Professor of the Discipline of Neurosurgery, Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo since March 2007; Technical Director Department of Health, Division of Functional Neurosurgery at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo from 1999 to 2004, Technical Director of the Division of Functional Neurosurgery at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine University of Sao Paulo since 2004
