He is awarded PhD in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec in the 1198. He holds a Master Degree (M.A) in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec in the1983, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) in Psychology (Honours) from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec in the 1981. He has extended his valuable service in from 2006 as Professor of Psychology, Medicine, Neurology and Neurosurgery 2006 – present McGill University and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, he is working as a Professor for Professor of Physical and Occupational Therapy, McGill University. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  He is the Associate editor: Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation, Member and Editorial Board: Pain Medicine and Associate editor; Pain and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books.  

Research Interest

His research on Research on Pain and Disability. His research area  includes occupational injury, trauma, depression, and stress-related disorders, management of pain-related disability.
