Jean-Louis Croisier holds a licence degree in Physical Education in the year 1985 and a licence in kinesitherapeutics (movement therapy) from the University of Liège ,belgium in the year 1987, He began work on a thesis concerning the isocinetic investigation of muscular function. He holds a doctorate in movement therapy and readaptation in the yaer 1996. In year 2002 he earned the “agrégé” diploma (the highest teaching qualification for higher education) for work concerning excentric muscular contraction. He has been an assistant at the ULg since 1989, and became an instructor in 2002. Since 2007,Jean-Louis Croisier has been a professor of general movement therapy (kinesitherapy).He became head of the department of movement science in the Faculty of Medicine at the ULg in the year 2007. He is an expert adviser on isocinetism for professional sports organizations, and the French-speaking Community of Belgium. He has extended his valuable service as the President in European Isokinetic Society for several years and has been a recipient of variety of scientific prizes and awards, including the 2002 prize awarded by the European Academy.
