Rockefeller S Young is retired Professor and Director of Clinical Electrophysiology & Psychophysics in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Jane W. Chan is Professor of Neurology Neuro Ophthalmology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Chan has written numerous articles and abstracts, and most recently published an authoritative textbook,OPTIC NERVE DISORDERS.She has been an invited speaker at worldwide neuro-ophthalmology and neurology meetings and at universities across the country. She is also the Principal Investigator of optic neuritis multiple sclerosis clinical studies. She graduated from the University of California, Davis and University of California, San Francisco, where she trained with Dr. William F. Hoyt. S. Patricia Becerra is a senior investigator and head of the Section of Protein Structure and Function, Laboratory of Retinal cell and Molecular Biology, National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. Assistant Professor Espinoza has received her MD at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, Louisiana, during the period  of 1996 to 2000. She then completed an internship in Internal Medicine and an Ophthalmology residency at Washington University, Saint Louis, Missouri, in 2004. Dr. Espinoza has research in clinical ophthalmology, with particular interest in pediatric diseases such as nasolacrimal duct obstruction and congenital eyelid abnormalities. She also works with adults and has an interest in orbital inflammatory disease, and autoimmune diseases such as Thyroid Eye Disease. Dr. Dongsheng Yang is an assistant professor of Ophthalmology in the University of Pittsburgh, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. He has authored about 40 research articles and two book chapters. Dr. Dongsheng Yang has received his MD in Qingdao University in 1992 and PhD (major in vision science) in the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997.

Cintia S. De Paiva, is an assistant professor at the Ocular Surface Center, Dept. of Ophthalmology, Baylor College of Medicine. She received her MS in biochemistry from the University of Wroclaw, Poland and a PhD in immunology from the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy, Poland. She has published 84 peer-reviewed papers, 8 book chapters, and 4 reviews. She is a Director of Ocular Immunology Laboratory OHSU, which provides autoantibodies testing for autoimmune and paraneoplastic retinopathies and optic neuropathies. She belongs to professional societies, including American Association of Immunologists, American Association for the Advancement of Science, International Society of Neuroimmunology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. She has been regularly reviewing basic science and clinical research manuscripts for over 20 journals related to vision and immunology. Dr. Michal Kramer has received her MD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem during the period of 1978-1985. She did her residency in Ophthalmology at Rabin medical Center in Israel, a research fellowship in Retina at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear infirmary in Boston, and a clinical fellowship in Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Currently, she is working as the head of the Uveitis Service in the department of Ophthalmology at Rabin Medical Center in Israel. She is a Lecturer in Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University, Israel. She has authored 33 articles and 2 book chapters. She is a member of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) and the American Uveitis Society (AUS)
