Journal of Microbial & Biochemical Technology

 »

Microbial technology is a field concerned with the development of technologies to control and manipulate the growth and activities of selected biological agents like microbes to create desirable products. Biochemical technology is nothing but the application of chemical composition of a particular living system or biological substances especially with the need to generate prospective biological product.

 »

The Journal of Microbial and Biochemical Technology (JMBT) elaborates the emphasis of biochemical analysis of microorganisms or biological substances which stands as a center for the development of the biotechnology industry. Microbial technology is applied to produce sophisticated products such as , immunomodulating compounds, and complex plant metabolites with the use of animal and plant cell cultures.

 »

JMBT publication pursues some collective goals and controls its own performance under a scientific organization. The JMBT under the Open Access category can be freely accessible and follows a concordant format so that research includes a number of assorted theories and various perspectives, some of which are compatible.

 »

JMBT is the peer-reviewed journal, providing a medium for the rapid publication of unabridged articles. JMBT under the Open Access category includes the articles of research in many different areas of modern biological sciences and microbe-related Biotechnology and depicts a shift towards the integrated biological research with activity of microbes in biochemical reaction.

 »

JMBT uses online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems of Editorial Manager® for quality and quick review processing.  Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of JMBT or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

 »

JMBT intends to exploit novel information about the microbe related biochemical technology with special emphasis on research that is interdisciplinary and of a collaborative nature, such as immunity and infectious diseases, protein design and engineering, fermentation science, microbial physiology & genetics, yeast biology, bioinformatics, microbial systematic, exploitation of enzymes for biotransformation.

 »

OMICS Publishing Group is ardent to open access. We strongly believe that removing barriers to research published online will greatly aid to the progress in omics scientific and technical disciplines.

 »

JMBT will keep up to date with latest advances in the field and papers published in JMBT will reach the readers directly by email for free of cost.

 »

Distributed widely through the Internet.

»

Archived online in the transactions of the OMICS Publishing Group, which provides the international scientific community with immediate and permanent access to individual papers.

 »

JMBT accepts online letters to the editors, brief comments that contribute to the previously published articles or other relevant findings in cancer science and therapeutics.

 »

Open Access is a publication model that enables the dissemination of research articles to the global community without restriction usually through the internet. Thus, all articles published under open access can be accessed by anyone with internet connection. JMBT strongly supports the Open Access initiative. Abstracts and full texts (HTML, PDF and XML format) of all articles published by JMBT are freely accessible to everyone immediately after publication.

 »

All works published by OMICS Publishing Group are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. This permits anyone to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited. JMBT supports the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

Definition of Open Access Publication

 »

An Open Access Publication is one that meets the following two conditions:

 1

The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.

 2

A complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in a suitable standard electronic format is deposited immediately upon initial publication in at least one online repository that is supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other well-established organization that seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving (for the biomedical sciences, PubMed Central is such a repository)

Notes:

 »

Open access is a property of individual works!

 »

Community standards, rather than copyright law, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now.
