Research Highlights
Antibacterial Activity and Mechanism of Baicalein Baicalein had obvious antibacterial activity on Staphylococcus aureus and the mechanism could affect bacterial membrane penetrability inhibit protein synthesis and influence SDH, MDH and DNA topoisomerase I and II activities to exert its antibacterial functions. 
Lipid and Fatty Acid Profile of Geobacillus Kaustophilus Geobacillus kaustophilus presented a significant decrease in the accumulation of total lipids in response to pH shock. Modification occurs in the bacterial membrane structure in response to temperature, salinity, incubation time, and pH shock. 
A Hydrothermal Anvil Made of Graphene Nanobubbles on Diamond Heating the diamond-graphene interface to the reconstruction temperature of diamond (~1,275 K) produces a high density of graphene nanobubbles that can trap water. Superheated water trapped within the pressurized graphene nanobubbles is observed to etch the diamond surface to produce a high density of square-shaped voids.
