Biography

Dr Deng has received his M.S and Ph.D Degree in Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology and South China Botany Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences during the period of 2001-2010. He worked as Associate Professor of Microbiology in Guangdong Institute of Microbiology during 2004-2012. 2012 to present, he is working as a postdoctoral associate researcher in Lincoln University, USA. His main research areas of interest are molecular techniques for human pathogen identification, microbial source tracking, anti-pathogen endophytes in risk reducing for fresh vegetable in situ, and bioremediation. He has authored 25 papers published in international journals. He membered of several scientific societies such as American Society for Microbiology, American Chemical Society, Chinese Society of Toxicology etc and a peer reviewer of a number of international journals.
