My research has been focusing on the genomics, molecular evolution, phylogeography, conservation genetic and molecular ecology on primates and other species since 2002. The major goals of our research group are: 1) evolutionary history of these primates; 2) the key threats to those highly endangered nonhuman primates in China; 3) molecular adaptive mechanism of these primates. Thus, our major ongoing projects concern genomics researches on macaques, snob-nosed monkeys and langurs.

Research Interest

Evolutionary, population and conservation genetics and genomics of primates, especially in Asian primates (macaques, snob-nosed monkeys and langurs)
