Biography

Dr. Jonathan Cho is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific and completed his PGY-1 pharmacy practice and PGY-2 infectious diseases specialty residencies at the Lee Memorial Health System. Dr. Cho is active in various local, state, and national organizations and currently serves on the ASHP NPF Professional Practice Advisory Group, ASHP SICP Educational Steering Committee, ACCP Research Affairs Committee, SIDP Annual Reports Committee and the Infectious Diseases-PRN Awards Committee. In addition to teaching, Dr. Cho has a strong passion for research and received travel grants to present his research related to rapid diagnostics and Clostridium difficile infections at national meetings. His research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, Clostridium difficile infections, pharmacy education, and residency advancement. Dr. Cho is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and plans to continue his active involvement in professional pharmacy organizations and research.
