Biography

She is a preventive foot care specialist at Chellaram Diabetes Institute, Pune, India. She is working with Chellaram Diabetes Institute, Pune for the past more than 5 years. She was formerly associated with MV hospital for Diabetes and Diabetes Research Centre (A WHO collaborating center for research, education and training). Her areas of interest lies in the prevention of foot problems through patient education, management of diabetic foot wounds through modern wound care products and other adjunct therapies and rehabilitation. She is one of the course development faculty for the Digital online course on CME in Diabetic foot management (CDFM). She has been Awarded the Best research paper (free paper session) at National conferences- DFSICON2016 held at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India and AEDFC 2013 held at Cochin, Kerala, India. She has authored few research publications in National and International Journals and authored chapters in Text Books. She was also a Faculty for various International, National and State conferences.
